For the past 30 years Cold Steel has been designing and manufacturing some of the finest, most durable knives available. Without a doubt a Cold Steel Blade should be in on your belt, in your pack, or in your hand at all times.
The 3V Tai Pan from Cold Steel is an awesome tactical defensive blade with a variety of uses and a sense of purpose. This knife is part of the Nightfall Series of Japanese style blades that evolved from the San Mai III fixed blades coveted by martial artists and knife collectors world wide!
This fantastic tactical knife is built from the superior materials and quality craftsmanship that only Cold Steel can provide. With a 7.5" plain edge spear point blade, this knife features a dual edged dagger style design that would make a perfect addition to your Get Home Bag or Bug Out Bag! Forged from American CPM 3-V super steel this blade offers terrific edge retention that can be honed razor sharp. High performance CPM 3-V offers exceptional point strength that exceeds D-2 tool steel. That makes this tactical knife a multi-tasker and an excellent choice for camping, hunting and bushcraft! A Diamond Like Coating protects the double edged blade with an impervious inky black finish and the diamond checkered Kray-Ex handle provides you with a rock solid no slip grip. It includes a Secure-Ex belt sheath to keep it ready when you need it. Incredibly tough and extremely versatile, the 3V Tai Pan from Cold Steel is a ready addition to your camp gear GHB or BOB.||Named for the feared 8th century Viking raider, The Paul Chen Godfred Sword is built around a beautifully patterned folded steel blade to replicate the pre-9th century originals. The interwoven leather grip, complemented by a Damascus guard and pommel, is matched by the leather-covered wood scabbard with bronze detailing and integral belt hooks. Superbly balanced, due to the deeply fullered distal tapered blade profile, the Godfred is a true tribute to the legendary Norse smiths.||The unique patented design of the DPx Gear Heft 12 Chop features a 12" razor sharp Sleipner steel blade that flows into a front-heavy axe-like tip and a ergonomic handle with rounded full tang. It's the perfect middle ground between a hatchet, machete and heavy bush knife.||The Pendleton Custom Classic is a handsome reproduction of Lloyd Pendleton's Drop Point Hunter.
This awesome hunter features a 3 1/2" blade with a sharp yet sturdy point for piercing and a truly razor sharp edge with plenty of belly. Its hand crafted polished blade is hollow ground from 5 mm thick VG-1 San Mai III stainless steel and boasts state of the art vacuum heat treatment, a sub zero quench and multiple tempering.
With its tapered full tang construction and extra stout "spine" it's virtually indestructible and, in a pinch, can double as a life saving survival knife. Lloyd's guard and integral bolster have been exactly duplicated. Precision machined from stainless steel and skillfully polished, it features a single short quillion and a unique "thumb print" on the bolster to help protect the fingers and allow any number of grip options. The handle is also a faithful copy of Lloyd's original. Featuring a red fiber liner that accents the tapered tang, and twin contoured handle scales made of highly polished black linen micarta with six stainless retaining pins.
A heavy pouch style sheath is included. It's made from brown cowhide with a thick welt and sturdy stitching and is wet molded to fit each knife. It covers two thirds of the handle so your knife is held secure and won't "pop out" inadvertently.||Named after the M4 Sherman, this petite yet robust knife really packs a punch. The unique pineapple Grenade handles are not only visually and tactically appealing, but provide an excellent grip. The button head pivot screws and delicate clip add a level of sophisticated elegance to this otherwise ruggedly stout folder. Whether you are in the office or out in the field, this little beauty will serve you well.||By the mid-1600s dueling was at the height of its popularity. In fact, this trend for settling affairs of honor with steel reached such heights that King Louis XIII of France outlawed dueling for fear of losing too many of his important dignitaries to this dangerous pursuit!
Aristocratic noblemen saw it as their manly duty to defend their honor at sword-point, and as such began not only seeking out the knowledge and training imparted by specialist sword masters, but also exploring other types of weapons to help them gain a decisive edge.
One particular sword began to gain popularity - a smaller, lighter and faster version of the Rapier that was easier to carry and quicker in combat. A precursor to what would eventually become the Smallsword referred to by many simply as the transitional rapier.
Cold Steels interpretation of this blade (which is named the Cavalier Rapier) features a sharp double edged and needle tipped blade which is decidedly shorter and lighter than a classic Rapier, allowing for much more speed and agility.
With a tempered steel pierced shell guard, rings, quillons and knuckle bow it offers astonishingly good hand protection, while its wire wrapped grip and counter balancing pommel give great comfort and liveliness in-hand.|
