The single-hand Marshall Sword sets new standards of quality and authenticity in broadsword construction. The sword is based on an original, now in a British museum, used by one of England’s finest knights, Sir William Marshall, who served the crown faithfully under Henry II, Richard the Lionheart and Jack Lackland. The Marshall Sword is forged – folded Swedish powder steel blade. The blade is tempered to a tough HRC 54. The blade section features a central ridged fuller and full-length distal taper – a tough test for the bladesmith but resulting in a superb combination of speed and strength. The grip is leather wrapped and laced and the guard and pommel are elegant in their functional simplicity. The scabbard is leather-covered with steel mounts. Truly a sword for the connoisseur.

Hanwei continues to push the envelope with its forging capability in the Trondheim sword, Paul Chen produced this as a one piece forging in pattern-welded high-carbon steel. Patterned after swords that have been discovered in the area around Trodheim, Norway, the sword exhibits early ninth-century styling, a time when the Norwegian Vikings were pillaging Britain and Ireland. The beauty of the blade is matched by the grip and scabbard, both of which are wrapped in top-grain leather, engraved in a classic Viking motif. Specifications: - Overall: 30 - Blade Length: 24 - Weight: 2lb 7oz Key Features: - One-Piece Folded Blade-Guard-Pommel - Leather over wood core scabbard - Carved detail in handle and scabbard
Cold Steel classic San Mai III fixed blades have been a Cold Steel staple for decades. Coveted by Martial Artists and knife collectors alike, they are much in demand, but these high-end luxury fixed blades are only produced in exclusive limited edition runs each year. Therefore, we are proud to introduce our new Nightfall Series of Japanese styled blades made from American CPM 3-V high performance powdered steel - with the same design and attention to detail as our much loved San Mai classics but with the addition of this premium American super steel, we're excited to usher in a new era of high performance fixed blades for the discerning knife owner. Each of these tough, reliable blades is DLC (diamond like) coated to a rich inky black finish. Highly scratch and wear resistant, and honed to an edge that you would expect on the keenest of razor blades, they are not only super sharp, but built to last!

The saya is finished in a deep black lacquer with a black and white striped cotton sageo. A finely rendered Koi, with true front-and-back detail, forms the black iron tsuba. The fittings are superbly antiqued adding to the aesthetics of the piece. The Koi katana from Hanwei is supplied with a protective cloth bag and traditional maintenance kit. The unique patented design of the DPx Gear Heft 12 Chop features a 12" razor sharp Sleipner steel blade that flows into a front-heavy axe-like tip and a ergonomic handle with rounded full tang. It's the perfect middle ground between a hatchet, machete and heavy bush knife.By the mid-1600s dueling was at the height of its popularity. In fact, this trend for settling affairs of honor with steel reached such heights that King Louis XIII of France outlawed dueling for fear of losing too many of his important dignitaries to this dangerous pursuit! Aristocratic noblemen saw it as their manly duty to defend their honor at sword-point, and as such began not only seeking out the knowledge and training imparted by specialist sword masters, but also exploring other types of weapons to help them gain a decisive edge. One particular sword began to gain popularity - a smaller, lighter and faster version of the Rapier that was easier to carry and quicker in combat. A precursor to what would eventually become the Smallsword referred to by many simply as the transitional rapier. Cold Steels interpretation of this blade (which is named the Cavalier Rapier) features a sharp double edged and needle tipped blade which is decidedly shorter and lighter than a classic Rapier, allowing for much more speed and agility. With a tempered steel pierced shell guard, rings, quillons and knuckle bow it offers astonishingly good hand protection, while its wire wrapped grip and counter balancing pommel give great comfort and liveliness in-hand.
